A modern day “Breakfast Club” and “Gossip Girl” meets murder mystery would be my best description of this young adult novel。 Five high school students from different social circles enter detention， but only four come out alive after one has a severe allergic reaction。 The remaining four become suspects。 But it seems like a lot of the student body has an axe to grind with Simon， the student that died， because he was the one behind a “Gossip Girl” style app that gave dirt on the students。 It is an A modern day “Breakfast Club” and “Gossip Girl” meets murder mystery would be my best description of this young adult novel。 Five high school students from different social circles enter detention， but only four come out alive after one has a severe allergic reaction。 The remaining four become suspects。 But it seems like a lot of the student body has an axe to grind with Simon， the student that died， because he was the one behind a “Gossip Girl” style app that gave dirt on the students。 It is an entertaining read to find out how these remaining students become friends and try to get to the bottom of finding out who killed Simon。 The author gives some good bread crumbs along the way to make it easy enough to figure out parts of what happened if you are paying attention。 。。。more
